Code Enforcement

Code enforcement is the act of enforcing and ensuring observance of a set of rules, principles, or laws. It is the responsibility of the Code Enforcement Officer to enforce non-criminal city ordinances, codes, rules and regulations, including violations, issuing civil infraction citations and responding to complaints. The Code Enforcement Officer is the primary officer for enforcement of the civil infraction codes of the City, including development, land use, nuisance codes, etc.
